About the Council
One council, two electoral wards
Broadstone Town Council has eight councillors elected across Broadstone East and Broadstone West. These wards are geographic electoral areas: every councillor is a member of the same Town Council and works for Broadstone as a whole.
Peter Sidaway is Chairman of Full Council and Colin Elkins is Vice Chair of Full Council. The Town Council is apolitical in how it serves Broadstone: councillors work together for the benefit of residents, regardless of party affiliation.

Electoral wards
Broadstone East and Broadstone West
Broadstone Town Council is one council serving the whole town. Broadstone East and Broadstone West are geographical electoral wards used to elect councillors; they are not separate councils or separate halves of the Council.
Each ward elects four councillors. All eight councillors sit on Broadstone Town Council and work together for residents across Broadstone.
